While I was in hiatus for more than a decade, I should learn something, at least one thing and that is one of my passions- exercising for over 30 years - I used that strength, and yoga indeed is really what I wanted to do in life. This I want to share with you guys- even so still a beginner from 3 years of practice-the discipline, grit whatever it takes to hold on to your dreams.”

Thank you for your continued support to my channel. I am very much passionate about this part of my life. Simply exercising and yoga. This channel would not want to just focus on Yoga rather the entirety of the journey as 3-year practitioner and 30 years of on and off love for exercise- running, brisk walking, swimming, Pilates, barre yoga, aerobics, Zumba, etc. Still a beginner but I feel that perfection of the meditative exercise is intimidating to me and so can be to others. That is why I have come up with this channel, somehow an open diary of someone believing in the power of “Just Trying, just starting something at home, simply begin “Anything that you’re passionate about, keep practicing as often as you CAN, develop your FLOW, SCHEDULE, routine, fail us much, reset -make mistakes. Go back to it after you have reset and – “Just try again, start again, begin again, even if it takes to master that failure many times - the most important thing that my family shared ME, JUST like in life- when you fall, just try again, pick yourself up, start again, begin again. then you’re BETTER, you’re decided, aware that more challenges are coming, your headed to a certain direction, your path is clear as WATER, YOUR strong mindset for pitfalls- better, CHANGED, resilient like a rubber band. While I am sailing my life on this mantra, this too – Service first to others. That IS, you, I always say this whenever I am inviting the viewers of “Yoga with Karmina” -as I was starting IT (THOUGH not a famous channel) -that even a single soul that I’m able to share hope is what matters. The emerging modern world of social media is unstoppable and so is our passion. it may be true that our passion sometimes may not bring food on the table, there could though be ways to keep it burning-that’s believing, hoping and having the grit to:

“Just try, just start something at home.” wherever you are in your life. From that point , as mom would always share us , keep on installing those dots- even if the path us uncertain, unclear , as in geometry, “Connect the dots…”by the late and great- Steve Jobs- not in exact words, I stand corrected -these dots- depicts our failures, mistakes and practice, flow, routines, habits when put together forms a line- discipline that is equals our lifestyle. This then has a great impact to our lives, our loved ONES, THE people around us- from one passion to a global hope to just keep trying in life. One day, you will finally find what your purpose is in life when everything else is aligned- body, mind and soul.

Routines

There are several types of flows,routines, schedules we can use as guides that may be effective to achieve certain goals. I am so much interested in overcoming laziness, lounging, wasting time, going around the bush as they say, making a lot of excuses, reasons to just not at least do one thing or things from my daunting to do list.  Maybe because I stopped working for more than a decade due to depression and I wanted to find my worth as a single parent, home buddy person. Yes, it is possible to still accomplish things even so you’re at home. I have featured so many “home chore hacks in Yoga with Karmina (formerly Findstv Hobby Homeschool). One thing I vouch on is my dedication to starting early and sticking on to my schedule, though some chores are perpetually spontaneous, holding on to your errands for the day, week, month was rewarding still. I exercised an hour every day during those dark times still. I believe that you have a better outlook in life when you move. At home, we were trained to wake up early even on Sundays. This part of my life helped me realize that I can apply this to this channel- Yoga with Karmina. Immersing myself in these routines, practices, flows, habits, steps, guides, schedules-however we may call it and sharing them on this blogsite and on Youtube Live streams.

How to stay consistent in exercising daily?

I could list down a lot to fill up this blogsite, but I also want to make it simple for you guys. I am not a fitness coach, nor a yoga guru but I already have decided to start that journey ever since I committed myself to practicing yoga six times a week. This is why I created this blogsite and Yoga with Karmina Youtube Channel. Sharing you my journey as a three-year practitioner, I know that is not a milestone yet, but it is to me. Anything that you commit yourself into is just like signing your name on a piece of contract, just like when you decide to do anything for yourself and your loved ones is commitment. If you can commit to accomplishing a goal, a dream, saving up for what you like to have, etc, then you can commit also to taking care of yourself so you can better or be the best of you. We all have our shares of failures and mistakes and life. Anytime, any day is the best day to “Just try, just start something at home.” One of the many to mention “something’ is weighing things if it is worth your time and effort to be healthy. Not that I am healthy, but this channel is of service to you, all you supporters of this channel to never lose hope in life. Faith, support from my loved ones and exercise gives me the strength to Just try, just start, if it fails, analyze,simplify then just try again, just start agai.” I asked my dad several tmes “what if I fail on this, what if that happens again, what if. blah,blah, blah” then he said, “What if it works this time?” That hit me, I had always been focused on failing, what if I change my mindset. Not as perfect guys in other aspects of my life that needs a fix but I believe our health has great impact to so many aspects of our lives.

 

Achievements

My achievements in life are: my son Jigggy, my nephew Luke and nieces Kamia, Tina and grandchildren Andrea and Jillian, my family.  My failures too are my achievements. The more I am immersed in hardships, challenges the more I learn, grow and realize that it is true that life is more rewarding when you work hard for the life you want. I feel more successful now when I can serve you guys, just a dose of hope in life, to not give up, that is a trophy for me now that I have aged. This is my purpose in life.   I have come to know Our Almighty- To God be the Glory.
